Children are children, and actually much the same everywhere. They love to play. We know that play is so very important in the lives of children - actually even in the lives of adults also. We have had the wonderful privilege of seeing such wonderful changes in the lives of our many vulnerable and orphan children. In every case, when brought by guardians, we see very sad, even wary, children as many of our precious ones have lost both parents to death and are being cared for by a relative - even destitute grandmothers, some quite aged.
However, as they begin to acclimate with the group their countenances change dramatically to happy joyful ones.
What a blessed privilege it is to see and be able to be part of it!
