Noah's Ark Orphan Care was founded in 2009, and is sponsored by, but separate from, Christian Church International in Flint, Michigan, USA.
Our main purpose for being in Malawi is to assist orphans, vulnerable children, and other needy people, to come to understand God's great love for them.
Our mission is to help these children to become responsible citizens of their communities, who will also be capable of competing in the global market.
Noah's Ark Orphan Care is a Faith Based Organization (FBO). As a FBO, we purpose to follow the direction of the Holy Bible in James 1:27,
"True religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this: To visit the fatherless and widows, in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." (King James Version)
Noah's Ark Orphan Care is also registered as a Community Based Organization (CBO). As a CBO, we work in cooperation with the community to enhance the lives of children and adults. We are directed by an International Executive Board.

Here is a fairly recent photo of our USA NAOC board in Flint, MI.
L to R: Pastor Vicki, Connie, Steff, Pastor Nancy, Donna, (Esther, not on board), Sharon, and Carol and Jerry. |
We are posting two photos of some of our members of this board, first the Malawian and then the American. As a note, we conduct our International Executive Board quarterly meetings via video chat - which is great fun! NAOC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization relying entirely on donations and contributions for its existence. We currently (2022) provide assistance, which includes daily food, except on Sundays, for 120 children and a few guardians in two locations in Malawi. |
